The 120-square-foot replica of the original resort, which opened 100 years ago, is the largest ever. It took a team of 10 master pastry chefs and two carpenters to build, and it includes 958 pounds of powdered sugar and 475 pounds of flour, plus many more delicious ingredients. Since 1964, Broadmoor chefs have been creating large-scale gingerbread masterpieces, bu this year’s takes the cake, er, gingerbread.
